Bangalore Photowalks is an open community where people come together to explore the city through photography. The walks are informal, public, and open to anyone who wants to join.

Open Community

Bangalore Photowalks operates on an open and informal model. Anyone can show up and join the walk. We generally do not maintain attendance records or registrations.

Because of this, the community operates on trust and mutual respect. Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward others.

Personal Responsibility

Participants join the walks at their own discretion and responsibility.

Bangalore Photowalks and its organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including cameras, lenses, phones, bags, or other equipment.

Please take care of your gear and remain aware of your surroundings.

Be On Time

Walks typically begin at the announced time.

Please try to arrive on time, as it helps the group start together and avoids delays.

Parking and Local Considerations

Many walk locations are in busy parts of the city.

Please:

• Park responsibly

• Avoid blocking roads or entrances

• Follow local parking rules

Being mindful of these things helps maintain a good relationship with the places we visit.

Stay With the Group

While exploring and photographing, try to stay reasonably close to the group.

If you need to leave early or step away, please inform someone so that the group is aware.

Respect People and Spaces

Many walks take place in busy public areas such as markets, streets, parks, and neighborhoods.

• Be respectful when photographing people.

• If someone does not want to be photographed, respect their request.

• Avoid disrupting businesses, residents, or daily activity.

No Conflicts or Arguments

Photowalks are meant to be a positive and collaborative experience.

Please avoid arguments, confrontations, or picking fights with members of the public or other participants. If a situation arises, step away and inform others.

Look Out for Each Other

If you find any participant in trouble or an uncomfortable situation:

• Inform other members nearby

• Gather together as a group if needed

• Help de-escalate the situation calmly
